Before entering unit types, list all types of units ( houses, flats etc.), and decide on how to best describe the types of units.  Decide on a short code, to enter easily, which will link to the full description that is entered here.

 

Eg.  2B - 2 BED ROOMED FLAT

      BB - BACHELOR FLAT

      2H - 2 BED ROOMED HOUSE  

 

Menu: Property Menu, Property Debtors Menu, Marketing Unit Maintenance

 

Once unit types have been setup above, by pressing 'F2' on field 6 Marketing Unit Maintenance, you can select from a list of all those setup, and apply them to the relevant unit.

 

This information is stored on the unit record itself, independent of any unit occupant's account record.
