With electricity and water readings and charges mainly being imported directly into the system, it is easy to overlook any one unit in these regards. There are two scans that check whether an electricity or water reading and charge has been entered for the current billing period. They will do no more than check to see whether an electricity and / or water batch entry has been put through for the unit.
The normal process would be to import all electricity and water readings and charges, then run the exception scans, to see which units have been missed. A property is setup to anticipate a reading for all of its units, by setting the relevant property control flag to 'R' (Menu: Maintenance, Property, field 15 - Control flags)
The exception scans, will check all units off all the properties which are set to 'R' as above, and report as exceptions those which have no current electricity or water entries as described above. The scans are runs from:
