All Units are counted as active, unless all of the following conditions are met on a Unit:

 

1. The Unit has been suspended

2. The Property control flag 11, has been set not to print 'Z' statements

3. There is a vacate date on the Unit

4. The vacate date is earlier than the relevant count date

 

If the above 4 are not met, a further check is conducted to see if there are any balances outstanding, or any transactions for the period. If there are none, the Unit will also be considered inactive, and not counted, even though the first 4 conditions were not met.
