A Property Action Log is a log of action items that is kept to manage and control the various matters that need to be attended to in the management of a property. Finalised items are flagged as such, can be excluded from listings etc., and are not deleted.
You can view the full or filtered action log items, as well as exceptions (items past their due date), using the View Action Log / Exceptions option. The exceptions for several properties can be viewed in one report.
An email is sent to the portfolio manager each time a new item is added, and when an item is flagged as finalised.
All amendments to the log can be viewed using the property audit log facility.
This option allows for the entering of a new item, or the amending of an existing one (The fields are self explanatory):
