(if user has 'write' security access)

It is possible to upload image files, or files of any type, into the archive to be stored with the current document as a sub-image.

This is just one of several methods for adding files to the archive, the others being:

• an UnForm rule-set-based job, either a print/deliver job or custom object-based job

• scanning or importing images and uploading files using the UnForm Image Manager tool

• use of the client-API command line interface in a script or embedded in an application

The document type and ID of the current "parent" document are displayed, with blank fields for the new image to be uploaded.

Press the 'Browse' button to select the file to upload.

A standard file browse window is displayed where you can navigate the file system to choose an image to upload.

Note that the last folder path that you uploaded an image from is saved for your next upload.

Selecting a file and clicking 'Open' updates the Data File path and file name choice in the Adding Image form.

Enter a Sub ID value which is a name index for the image, and is a required field.

The Date/Time fields can be left blank to default them to the current date and time.

The Title is an optional description.

Press the Update button to upload the image into the archives as a sub-image to the current parent document.

After the image is uploaded the Adding Image page is cleared and a new document listing page displays which includes the document last selected and the new image.
