A toolbar icon on the Active and Recent Searches page accesses 'Saved Searches'.

Searches are predefined by administrators and can be run by users.

A list of any predefined saved searches is displayed.

If a saved search references a library that has a category, then the library category is displayed and must be opened using the blue down arrow button to see the saved searches.

Some of the design settings of a saved search can affect what happens next after selecting a saved search from the list.

If there is no user prompting defined in the search and the search is designed to 'auto-run' without showing the form, then choosing the saved search from the list immediately runs the search and displays any progress page or the search results page.

In the example below, the 'AR Statements' saved search was chosen and it resulted in 14 documents being selected as shown in the Search Results page.

In the next example below, the 'AP Check Amount Search' was chosen.

Since this search design contains a 'run-time prompt', a user prompt is displayed for entering a check dollar amount to search for.

The search runs and displays the Search Results page, showing that check number 9900102 matches this dollar amount.

In the example below, the 'Invoices' saved search was chosen and because it is designed to show the form before running, the user is presented with the 'Create/Edit Search' page, and can add search criteria to the saved search before running it.

A date range is a good example of a criteria that might need to be added to a saved search before it is run.

After entering a date range and pressing the blue arrow 'Go' button the search results page displays the matching document(s).

Once a Search Results page has been generated the features and options of a saved search are no different than a regular search.
